Today was my last full day in London.i spent the afternoon as a try tourist and took a sightseeing tour from the top of a bus. I really thinking should do the NY one now too. It took about 3 hours, I got off went to Niketown, caught the tube to stratford, the Olympic park, did some shopping, browsing really, then watched women's diving final, 3m springboard. (wow run on sentence - inspired by Bolt's victory).
I got to see a medal ceremony tonight, in case you don't know, China went gold, silver and Mexico got bronze. The US diver blew her last dive, she was in a battle for bronze, but finished 7th. The other American finished 8th.
Leave I to me to find the quickest way back to thehostelonthe last day. I have. Even taking the tube about 40 mons from Stratford to Kings Cross, where i am staying. Turns out there is a direct line called the javelin. Took me 6 mins to get to the station. No joke, 6 minutes. A Bunch of athletes were on the train too, including Carmelo Anthony, NBA/USA basketball player.
Tonight I will finish packing, my pics from today will have to wait til my return. I just finished eating dinner, at 11pm, and I am exhausted. I am leaving for the airport at 10am while the rest of the group will be gone before 6am. For some reason, I got separated from the group. I just hope there are no delays or I am going to miss my connecting flight in Montreal, yes Canada. I am traveling the world. Lol.
I can't wait to return to my own bed with a private room and a shower that is bigger than an RV shower. Also, i underestimated the powerof ice when injured, and the fact you can by it nearly anywhere.
There is still so much of my trip I want to share, like Paris. I can't wait to settle back down at home and really soak in my experience. I am sure more and more will come to me when I sit and just think about it and i will share with you all.
Thanks for all of your thoughts and following my blog. See you back in America tomorrow!
