What a day...I have so much to share but not enough time...
I slept ZERO minutes of the plane...my ankle was swollen the size of a softball from not elevating it on the plane...it was hotter than expected in London, I forgot air conditioning is a privilege...I walked around the city so much I think I have seen more of London than NYC, ok that is a stretch. I was walking down Oxford St and joined in with the crowd as I watched the flame pass by. And the highlight of my my day was when I was recognized as a US Olympian and was asked to take a picture and give my autograph. I wasn't the only one this happened to either...seems we have an alternate men's soccer player, women's soccer player, a lacrosse player and a fencer. Which is all very ironic because the men's soccer team from the US didnt qualify for the Olympics, softball isn't an Olympic sport this year and the "fencer" is actually a runner.
I went throw some massive technology withdrawal when I didn't have Internet for hours.
Starting to doze off now but I wanted to let you know I added some pictures and videos from today. 2 of the videos are from the streets when the torch came through and the other video is of Katy B and Mark Ronson singing the theme song for the Olympic torch relay.
I know its only 5pm there but its 10pm here...Night.
